As a designer, I had the exciting opportunity to consult with the Body Glove license holders to create a line of beach cruisers that perfectly captured the essence of the California beach lifestyle. My goal was to design bikes that not only looked stylish but also resonated with the laid-back, sun-soaked vibe of coastal living. To achieve this, I incorporated distinctive elements like neoprene as chainstay protectors, a nod to Body Glove’s iconic material, offering both functionality and a seamless connection to the brand's legacy in surf and water sports. The result was a collection that combined the durability and comfort needed for beachside adventures with the timeless, cool aesthetic of
California’s surf culture.
